ZECO Development LTD is going to build and provide a zero-energy smart houses/building equipped with renewable energy sources like - PV installation, an air-to-water heat pump and a recuperation system ensuring 100% of the energy needs of the house and its inhabitants in the annual balance.
By providing this type of houses as self-sufficient energetically, ecofriendly, and socially innovative products, we would like to fulfill fallowing missions:
- social need for houses (housing shortage in Ireland),
- environmentally friendly, carbon reduction technology used to build those type of buildings,
- In the future we would like to develop and create housing prefabrications technologies which will be used to build very energy efficient buildings in Ireland

Roof insulation

Outer walls insulation
- Low heat transfer coefficient U< 0.15 W/m²K
- Load-bearing structure made of certified laminated veneer lumber (LVL) and solid KVH wood
- Narrower, warmer, and healthier than masonry walls
- Exceptionally durable gypsum fiberboard panels
Foundation slab insulation
- Low heat transfer coefficient U <0.15 W/m²K
- Heat accumulation adapted to the Irish climate
- Protection of the building against uneven settling
- Moisture protection for the structure
Floor insulation
- The total thickness of the ceiling over 40 cm provides excellent sound insulation between floors
- High load resistance
- A rigid screed is an excellent substrate for all types of floor finishing
- Underfloor heating ensures optimal thermal comfort
